Allicater Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how Allicater OÜ processes personal data in connection with the use of the Allicater platform in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection legislation.

Allicater is a web platform that facilitates offers and orders between event organisers (Orderers) and catering service providers (Service Providers).

We collect and process personal data that users provide when using the Allicater platform.

When creating and using your account

We may collect the following data:

  • first and last name
  • email address
  • phone number
  • billing or contact address
  • account data

Data related to ordering the service

When you use the Allicater platform to order catering services, we may process the following data:

  • event date and location
  • number of guests
  • budget and order details
  • communication with Service Providers
  • payment and order history

Communication data

When you contact us (e.g. by email or customer support), we may process:

  • the content of your enquiry
  • communication history
  • information related to resolving your support request

Technical data

When you use the Allicater platform we may automatically collect technical data, such as IP address, browser type, device information, visit time and usage statistics. This data is used mainly for the operation of the system, security and analysis purposes.

3. Purposes and legal bases for processing personal data

We process personal data for the following purposes.

Provision of the service (performance of contract)

Personal data is processed to:

  • create user accounts
  • facilitate price quotes
  • forward orders to Service Providers
  • enable communication between users
  • manage orders and payments

Data is also used to:

  • ensure system reliability
  • prevent fraud and misuse
  • produce statistics and usage analysis

4. With whom we share personal data

Allicater does not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

Service Providers

When a user places an order, the necessary data is shared with the Service Provider, such as: name, contact details, event details. This is necessary for the performance of the order and the provision of the Service. Service Providers process the personal data shared with them for the provision of the Service as independent data controllers.

Technical service providers

Certain data may be processed by our technical service partners, such as:

  • payment service providers
  • cloud hosting providers
  • analytics service providers
  • IT service providers

These service providers process data only on Allicater’s instructions.

Information shared via the platform

The Allicater platform may allow Orderers and Service Providers to communicate with each other and exchange information in connection with organising events and providing the Service. Users are themselves responsible for what personal data they share with other users in such communication.

If an Orderer or Service Provider decides to share additional personal data with the other party (e.g. phone numbers, email addresses, guest lists or other event-related data), such sharing is at the users’ own responsibility.

After such data has been shared, the Orderer and Service Provider may process it as independent data controllers to the extent necessary for the provision of the Service or the organisation of the event. Allicater is not responsible for communication between users outside the platform or for the further processing of data shared in such communication.

Allicater may also disclose personal data where necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to protect its rights.

5. Data retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this privacy policy.

General retention periods:

  • account data – until the account is deleted
  • order and payment data – in accordance with legal retention requirements
  • customer support communication – until the issue is resolved and for a reasonable period thereafter

After account deletion we may retain limited data to the extent necessary for: resolving legal claims, fulfilling accounting obligations, and ensuring system security.

6. Cookies and analytics

Allicater uses cookies and similar technologies to: ensure the platform works correctly, improve the user experience, and collect aggregated and statistical usage information.

Some platform features may not work fully if cookies are disabled.
